Disciple[/@ch_4_d]"Children should not bother the teacher,"[/@ch_4_d] one of them declared, shaking his head. [@ch_1]Miriam felt her hope waver as the path to Jesus seemed to close.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them," he spoke, his voice gentle yet commanding. "For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." The disciples stepped aside, allowing Miriam and Samuel to approach.
Jesus placed his hands gently on Samuel's head, his eyes kind and full of love. "May you always find joy and purity in your heart," he blessed, casting a smile at Miriam.
Miriam held Samuel's hand as they walked back through the village, their hearts lighter and filled with hope. The crowd dispersed, each person touched by the simple yet profound truth revealed that day.
