Gabbar, the clever yet slightly foolish donkey, awoke with a start, his mind already buzzing with the excitement of attending the jungle fair. However, a frown creased his brow as he realized he had no money to join the festivities.
"I've got it!" Gabbar exclaimed, a plan forming in his mind. "I'll gather herbs from the jungle and sell them at the fair. Surely someone will find them useful." With newfound determination, he set off deeper into the jungle.
Gabbar, content with his collection, admired the basket filled with vibrant green herbs. Each leaf seemed to promise good fortune at the fair.
Gabbar set up his stall with a proud smile, displaying his herbs prominently. Yet, despite his enthusiasm, passersby seemed uninterested. His heart sank as he realized no one wanted to buy his collection.
"What do you have here, young one?" Baba asked, his voice kind but questioning.
"These are miraculous herbs!" Gabbar boasted, trying to sound convincing. "They can cure any ailment, I promise."
Baba chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Young donkey, honesty is the best policy. No need to weave tales for these simple herbs. Learn to speak the truth, and you will find your way." Gabbar felt a wave of shame wash over him. He realized his foolishness and the value of honesty in the wise man's words.
Gabbar understood that the day's lesson was more valuable than any herb he could sell. He vowed to embrace honesty, knowing it would lead him to true success. And so, with a humble heart, he walked into the night, ready to face tomorrow with integrity.
