Sang Kancil, the clever mouse deer with a twinkle in his eye, ventured through the lush greenery, his stomach rumbling with hunger. His keen eyes searched for something delicious to eat.
Sang Kancil stopped in his tracks, gazing longingly at the guavas hanging from the branches above. However, Monyet, the monkey known for his arrogance, sat atop the tree, nibbling on a guava while observing the forest below.
Sang Kancil[/@ch_1_d] "Oh, [@ch_2]Monyet, please give me a guava!"[/@ch_1_d] he called out, his voice polite yet hopeful.
"If you want to eat, you have to climb up here yourself," came the arrogant reply from Monyet, who smirked as he denied the request.
Sang Kancil pondered for a moment, then picked up a small stick from the forest floor. With a mischievous grin, he aimed and threw it at Monyet, who yelped in surprise.
Monyet was furious, his pride wounded. In a fit of anger, he picked several guavas and hurled them at Sang Kancil. But Sang Kancil was agile and quick, dodging the fruits with ease.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! You've been tricked," Sang Kancil laughed, his eyes sparkling with delight.
Sang Kancil eagerly gathered the guavas and began to savor them. Meanwhile, Monyet sat in silence, a newfound humility washing over him as he realized the cleverness of Sang Kancil.
"That Kancil is really clever at tricking me," Monyet muttered to himself, feeling a twinge of shame.
Monyet watched as Sang Kancil enjoyed the fruits of his cunning. This encounter left him with a valuable lesson in humility, reminding him that arrogance can often lead to one's own downfall.
