Lily sat cross-legged on the carpet, her fingers eagerly flipping through the pages of her favorite coloring book. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she found a page that captured her imagination—a whimsical forest scene filled with fantastical creatures.
"Look at this magical forest!" she exclaimed, her voice full of wonder. Her little brother, Tommy, peeked over her shoulder, his eyes widening with curiosity. "Can I help you color, Lily?" he asked, his fingers itching to join in on the fun.
Lily handed Tommy a bright green crayon, nodding approvingly. "You can color the trees. Make them as tall as you like!" Tommy grinned widely, his imagination running wild as he added his own touch to the scene.
"Lily, do you think there really are places like this?" Tommy asked, his eyes filled with wonder. Lily paused, considering the possibility. "Maybe, in our dreams or somewhere far away," she replied thoughtfully.
"We should make up a story about this forest," Lily suggested, closing the coloring book with a satisfied smile. Tommy nodded, his mind already spinning with ideas. "Yeah, and we can be the heroes!"
Lily and Tommy snuggled up on the couch, reminiscing about their colorful adventure. "I can't wait to color again tomorrow," Lily whispered, her eyelids growing heavy with sleep. "Me too," Tommy replied, dreaming of the adventures yet to come.
