Benny the Bunny looked into the pond, his big ears flopping as he admired the twinkle in his eyes. The petals danced in the breeze, and rosy clouds drifted overhead. All around, the garden buzzed with happy energy, like a song waiting to be sung.
Benny the Bunny stopped to sniff a tulip and felt a burst of joy inside his chest. "I like my soft fur and my strong legs. They help me hop high and run fast! I think I love being me," he whispered to a friendly snail.
Tina the Turtle blinked slowly, her shell shimmering green and gold. "What do you like most about yourself, Benny?" she asked gently.
Sunny the Bird fluffed his feathers and chirped, "I love my song! It makes everyone smile. What makes you happy, Benny?"
Benny thought for a moment, looking at his friends. "I’m happy when we play and listen to each other. I respect you both because you’re kind and different in wonderful ways," he said. "Respect means listening and caring, even if we’re not the same," Tina nodded.
Benny sighed, his ears drooping. "Sometimes I worry I’m not good enough," he admitted.
"But your big ears help you hear us when we call you to play!" Sunny chirped.
"Everyone has special things that make them wonderful," Tina agreed.
Benny beamed, feeling warmth all through him. "I love myself just the way I am—and I love you both, too!" he cheered.
"When we love ourselves and respect each other, happiness grows like a garden!" Sunny sang, and laughter filled the air.
"Self-love and respect make every day brighter," Tina said softly.
"And I will share my happiness with everyone I meet," Benny replied, watching the stars appear, feeling proud to be himself in the colorful garden of me.
