Alex, a seven-year-old boy with brown, wavy hair, is wearing his favorite blue hooded sweater. He wanders through the park, his eyes bright with curiosity and joy.
Alex notices his friends tossing small stones toward the toad, their giggles ringing out. A frown crosses his face as he approaches them. "Hey, stop that!" he calls out, his voice firm and determined.
"Animals need our protection," Alex explains, kneeling down to gently scoop up the toad. "They shouldn’t be harmed." His friends watch, regret slowly creeping into their expressions.
He sets the little creature down on a soft patch of grass, ensuring its safety. His friends gather around, their hearts softened by his actions.
One of his friends speaks up, "Thanks, Alex. You’re right, we shouldn’t have done that." The others nod, understanding now the importance of kindness.
Alex smiles, happy to have made a difference. Together, they leave behind the pond, their friendship strengthened by the lesson they’ve learned.
