One by one, Pokémon in bright crayon costumes gather near the stage: Pikachu in a vivid yellow suit, Charmander as a bold red, Bulbasaur in leafy green, Squirtle sparkling in blue, Eevee cozy in brown, Jigglypuff sweet in purple, Snorlax in a deep black, and Togepi bright in white. Laughter echoes as they stretch and rehearse their lines, crayons gleaming in the sunlight.
"This is going to be the best Crayon Song performance ever! Is everyone ready?"
"Ready and raring to go! I practiced my part all week," Squirtle beams, twirling his blue crayon prop.
Charmander steps forward, holding a red crayon, and starts to sing. The others join in, each Pokémon singing about their crayon color as they wave their props. Eevee spins with a brown crayon, while Togepi bounces, waving a white crayon with glee.
"Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple too... Brown and white and black, that's the crayon crew!" Bulbasaur chimes in, voice bright and cheerful.
"Let’s make sure we stay in order this time, okay?" Jigglypuff giggles, glancing at Snorlax, who is already starting to nod off in his bulky black crayon suit.
As Pikachu starts the chorus, the wind picks up. Snorlax's oversized black crayon hat topples off, rolling into Squirtle and knocking him over. The purple crayon prop slips from Jigglypuff's hands and lands in a puddle, splattering everyone nearby.
"Whoa! Look out!" Squirtle exclaims, tumbling off the stage as the audience gasps.
"Oh no! The crayons are everywhere!" Togepi squeaks, frantically chasing after runaway props.
Red and yellow crayons mix as Charmander and Pikachu bump into each other, while Eevee's brown crayon slips under a bush, out of sight. Jigglypuff tries to sing her line but only manages to squeak as she slips on a wet patch.
"This isn’t how the song goes! Quick, everyone, grab your crayons!"
"Maybe... we just improvise?" Snorlax suggests sleepily, still half-lounging on the grass.
Bulbasaur offers a green crayon to Eevee, while Togepi hands the soggy purple prop back to Jigglypuff. The audience claps and cheers, enjoying the spectacle more than any perfect performance.
"Let’s finish our song—all together, no matter what color we are now!"
"Yeah! After all, Pokémon come in every color too," Charmander grins, and the group begins to sing again, laughter in their voices.
The Pokémon chorus swells as they finish the Crayon Song, their voices blending in a joyful, if chaotic, harmony. Crayon props wave high in the air, and the meadow sparkles with the colors of friendship and fun. No one remembers the mistakes—only the laughter and the bright, messy magic of the day.
"Best show ever—even if it was a little ruined!" Pikachu laughs, and everyone cheers, ready to do it all again.
