Bella the Bunny loves to explore. Today, she wakes up early, stretches her little paws, and looks around her cozy burrow. The forest is full of sounds—birds chirping, leaves rustling, and a gentle breeze dancing through the branches.
Tommy the Turtle is slow but always ready with good advice. "Good morning, Tommy! What are you doing today?"
"Hello, Bella! I’m watching the clouds and thinking about where the river comes from," he replies, his eyes twinkling kindly.
Bella thinks for a moment. "I wonder where the river goes and who lives downstream," she muses, her nose twitching faster.
"Let’s go on an adventure and find out together," suggests Tommy, his shell shining in the sun.
Bella hops ahead while Tommy follows slowly, enjoying the scenery. They greet a family of frogs on a log and wave to a busy beaver building a dam. "Hello, everyone! We’re learning about where the river leads," says Bella.
Bella and Tommy work together—Bella hops across to pick berries, while Tommy carries them safely on his back. Sally the Squirrel, grateful and giggling, shares a story about the river’s journey to a big lake. "Thank you! The river helps all animals, big and small," she says.
Bella is tired but happy. "We learned so much today, Tommy. The river is important for all our friends,"
"Yes, every adventure teaches us something new," smiles Tommy. As they reach Bella’s cozy burrow, they wave goodnight, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
