Dino, a lively T-Rex with a heart as big as his roar, was bouncing with excitement. "Good morning, friends!" he called out, waving his tiny arms enthusiastically.
Trudy, the gentle Triceratops with a crown of three horns, smiled back. "Good morning, Dino! What adventure awaits us today?"
Steggy, the wise Stegosaurus with a back full of colorful plates, joined them. "I heard the Pterodactyls have brought us some delicious fruit from the faraway forest!"
Dino watched as the Pterodactyls worked tirelessly. He tilted his head thoughtfully. "They’ve worked so hard for us," he murmured.
Trudy nodded, her eyes soft with gratitude. "Yes, they have. Maybe we should do something special to thank them," she suggested.
Steggy tapped his foot, deep in thought. "How about we make them thank-you cards? Words from the heart are always a treasure," he proposed.
Dino picked up a bright red leaf and began to draw a big heart on it with a stick dipped in berry juice. "I’m going to tell them how much I love the sweet berries they bring," he declared.
Trudy crafted a card shaped like a star and carefully wrote, "Thank you for reaching the stars to bring us joy," her eyes twinkling with delight.
Steggy used his big, gentle tail to create a card full of colorful patterns. "I’ll tell them they are the rainbow in our lives," he said with a warm smile.
Dino held up his card proudly. "Thank you for all the yummy fruits! You make our tummies so happy," he exclaimed.
Trudy presented her card with a gracious nod. "Your kindness reaches the sky, just like you," she said softly.
Steggy handed over his colorful creation. "Thank you for bringing colors to our world," he added warmly.
Pterry, the leader of the Pterodactyls, smiled warmly at the trio. "Thank you, little friends. Your words are as sweet as the fruits we bring. We are grateful too," he responded.
Dino, Trudy, and Steggy felt their hearts swell with happiness. They realized that gratitude was like sunshine, making everything around them brighter.
Dino yawned and snuggled closer to his friends. "I’m so glad we told them thank you," he said sleepily.
Steggy nodded, his eyes drooping. "And it made our hearts grow even bigger," he added with a content sigh.
As they drifted off to sleep, the dinosaurs learned that a simple "thank you" could bring warmth and light to their world, just like the sun that would rise again in the morning.
