Draco the dragon sighed as he watched the other dragons fill the air with flames. Unlike them, he could only blow a faint puff of smoke. "I must find my fire breath," Draco whispered to himself, his heart heavy with determination.
Draco flapped his wings, landing softly in the village square. Old Tom, a wise old man with a long beard, noticed the little dragon's arrival. "What brings you here, young one?" he asked kindly.
"I'm looking for my fire breath," Draco replied. "Perhaps you should seek the Great Oak in the heart of the forest," suggested Old Tom.
Draco ventured into the forest, the path winding and mysterious. As he walked, Draco met Ellie, a friendly squirrel, who decided to join him. "You never know what you'll find in these woods," Ellie chirped, scampering beside him.
Draco and Ellie arrived at the Great Oak, its presence both calming and powerful. The Oak Spirit, a gentle whispering voice, greeted them. "What do you seek, young dragon?" it asked.
"I seek my fire breath," Draco replied. "You may not have fire, but you have something greater—kindness," the spirit revealed.
Draco felt a warm glow within him, understanding the true power he possessed. As he helped a small bird with a broken wing, he realized the impact of his newfound gift. "Thank you," the bird chirped gratefully, and Draco smiled, feeling fulfilled.
Draco returned to his friends, his heart light and full of joy. Flame, an older dragon, noticed his change. "You may not breathe fire, Draco, but you shine with a different light," Flame acknowledged. Draco beamed, knowing he had found something far more precious on his adventure—the power of kindness.
