Lila gazes out her window, where the last golden rays paint the garden in shimmering hues. The moon has just begun to rise, peeking over the rooftops, casting silvery light on petals and leaves. The world is quiet, except for the lullaby of distant birds settling down for the night.
"Mama, where do dreams come from?"
The Dream Guide, a gentle owl with silvery feathers and wise eyes, swoops down to perch on Lila’s windowsill. "Dreams grow in the Dream Garden, just beyond your gate. If you close your eyes and wish, you might visit there tonight." Lila smiles, her heart fluttering with excitement as her eyelids grow heavy.
Lila walks barefoot on cool grass, marveling at enormous tulips that hum lullabies, and drowsy daisies that sway in unison. The air shimmers with possibility, and every step feels like walking through a new story.
"Is this where dreams are born?"
Little Star, a curious and glowing celestial child, twinkles with excitement. "I’m looking for my way home! I fell from the sky while chasing a dream. Can you help me?" Lila nods, eager to help her new friend, and together they wander deeper into the garden.
The Dream Guide flutters down beside Lila and the Little Star. "To return home, the Little Star must find the silver bridge made of moonbeams. The Lullaby Birds know the way, but first, they need someone to sing along." Lila joins in, her voice weaving with the birds’ song, filling the garden with music that glimmers in the air.
Little Cloud, with big sleepy eyes and a soft, gentle rumble, sighs. "I can’t sleep because I’m afraid I’ll float away and never find my friends again," it whispers. Lila gently pats the cloud, assuring it that in the Dream Garden, friends are always near and dreams keep everyone safe.
Lila helps the Little Star and Little Cloud board the Sleepy Train, where the Dream Guide waves from the conductor’s seat. "Thank you, Lila! With your help, I’ll find my way home," the Little Star calls, as the train whistles a sleepy tune. The train rolls gently along the tracks, carrying everyone toward their own dreamlands, leaving a trail of sparkling stardust in the night.
Sunshine warms Lila’s face, and she opens her eyes to the familiar comfort of her bedroom. Outside, the garden glistens with morning dew, and a single feather—shimmering softly—rests on her windowsill as a reminder of her magical night. Lila smiles, her heart full of dreams, knowing the Dream Garden is always waiting, just beyond sleep.
