Lily bounced eagerly around the campsite, her eyes wide with excitement. Her brothers, Max, Finn, and Leo, were unpacking the gear, each lost in their own tasks.
"Let's play hide and seek with Biscuit!" Lily suggested, pointing towards their playful puppy who wagged his tail energetically.
"Alright, but we should stay close to the camp," Max replied, holding up a map with a grin.
"Biscuit, come back!" Finn shouted, rushing after the puppy.
Leo grabbed his flashlight, turning it on as he followed his siblings into the forest. "We can't let him get too far," he said, his voice echoing through the trees.
Max quickly pocketed the map, leading the way with Lily close behind. "Stay together, everyone," he called, determination in his voice.
The siblings trudged deeper into the forest, their eyes scanning the shadows. Lily held tightly to Max's hand, her heart pounding with both fear and excitement.
"Look, there!" Leo pointed to a set of tiny, glowing footprints leading away from the path.
"Let's follow them. Maybe they'll lead us to Biscuit," Finn suggested, his courage unwavering.
"Wow, it's beautiful," Lily whispered, her eyes wide with awe.
"We should be careful, not to startle it," Max advised, his voice soft.
Biscuit spotted them and barked happily, running back to Lily's open arms. The stag watched them with wise eyes before slowly retreating into the forest.
"That was incredible," Leo said, his mind buzzing with ideas for stories inspired by the night's events.
"And we found Biscuit!" Finn added, his bravery rewarded.
"Let's get back to camp and tell Mom and Dad all about it," Max suggested, feeling proud of their teamwork.
Lily smiled, hugging Biscuit close. "I can't wait for our next adventure," she said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
