Rosy sat amidst the clutter, completely absorbed in her drawing, while her mother's voice echoed from the hallway.
"Rosy, your room looks like a tornado hit it! Please tidy up," her mother called, exasperation evident in her tone.
"In a minute, Mom!" Rosy replied half-heartedly, her eyes never leaving the paper.
Rosy's Mother sighed, her patience wearing thin. "Rosy, I've asked you three times today. It’s important to keep things tidy," she reminded gently before retreating back to her chores.
Rosy, however, remained unfazed, surrounded by her creative chaos.
The Cupboard, to Rosy's astonishment, began to speak in a gentle, melodic voice. "Hello, Rosy! Would you like to play a game called ‘Clean and Shine’?"
Rosy blinked in surprise, her curiosity piqued. "Did you just... talk?" she asked, edging closer.
The Cupboard chuckled warmly. "Yes, indeed! Let's turn cleaning into an adventure," it encouraged.
Rosy giggled, her initial hesitation melting away as she joined in, her hands guiding the enchanted tidying.
"This is actually fun!" she exclaimed, her laughter mingling with the cupboard's gentle hum.
"See? A tidy room can be quite magical," The Cupboard replied, a note of satisfaction in its voice.
Rosy's Mother peeked in, her eyes widening in surprise. "Wow, Rosy, your room looks amazing! How did you manage this?" she asked, a smile spreading across her face.
Rosy winked at the cupboard, keeping their magical secret. "I had a little help from a new friend," she said cryptically, leaving her mother intrigued and delighted.
