King Alaric stood at the edge of the forest, his royal cape billowing in the evening air. His heart beat with anticipation as he prepared for his quest to capture the ghost that had eluded him for so long.
"Tonight, I shall finally bring you back to the kingdom, Glimmer," he vowed, gripping his lantern tightly.
Suddenly, a flicker of light appeared ahead, dancing playfully between the trees. It was Glimmer, the mischievous ghost, glowing softly in the darkness.
"Ah, King Alaric, back again?" Glimmer chimed, her voice echoing like a melody. "Are you ready for another riddle?"
Alaric nodded, determination etched on his face. "I am ready," he declared.
"Very well," Glimmer began, her voice soft yet commanding. "I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?"
After a moment, he spoke, "An echo. It is an echo."
Glimmer's laughter rang out, a sound like tinkling bells. "Indeed, you are wise, King Alaric," she praised, swirling around him in a dance of light.
"You have answered wisely, and your quest is fulfilled," Glimmer announced. "May your kingdom prosper with the wisdom you carry back."
Alaric bowed, gratitude filling his heart. "Thank you, Glimmer. Your riddles have taught me much."
The king emerged from the Whispering Woods, the morning sun casting a warm embrace over his shoulders. With newfound wisdom, he returned to his kingdom, ready to lead with integrity and fairness.
