"You always take my things without asking!" María exclaimed, her tiny fists clenched.
"But I wanted to play with it too!" retorted Inés, tears brimming in her eyes.
The world around them blurred and shifted, colors blending into a kaleidoscope of light. When the wind subsided, María and Inés found themselves standing in a lush, vibrant forest, the sound of birds chirping harmoniously above.
María looked around in awe, "Where are we?" she whispered, her previous anger momentarily forgotten.
"I don't know, but it's beautiful," Inés replied, stepping closer to her sister, curiosity overtaking her tears.
"Maybe we can find a way home if we solve these puzzles," María suggested, tracing the symbols with her fingers.
Inés nodded, "Let's work together. I think that's what this place is trying to tell us," she said, determination in her voice.
María grinned at Inés, "You're pretty smart for a five-year-old," she teased affectionately.
"And you're not so bossy as I thought," Inés giggled, the warmth of sisterhood replacing their earlier animosity.
"Together?" María asked, glancing at her sister.
"Forever," Inés replied, squeezing her sister's hand as they stepped through the portal, leaving the enchanted realm behind.
