Oliver wandered into the woods not realizing how far he had ventured, his small heart pounding with a mix of fear and curiosity. The path he had been following seemed to vanish, swallowed by the ever-thickening fog. "I shouldn't have come this far," he murmured, glancing nervously around, hoping to find some semblance of direction.
Luna, a endearing spirit with a loving smile, hovered gently above the ground. Her presence was calming, exuding warmth despite the chill of the night. "Do not be afraid, little one," she whispered, her voice like the soft music of a harp. Oliver blinked in awe, his fear melting away as he stepped closer.
"I've seen many wanderers in these woods, yet few with such a brave heart as yours," Luna said, her eyes twinkling with stories untold. Oliver sat down, entranced by her soothing voice. "What are you?" he asked, curiosity outweighing his earlier dread.
"I am Luna, a guardian of these woods," she explained. "I am here to help any who find themselves lost in the woods. Tonight, I shall guide you home." Oliver wondered how she had found him but felt a surge of comfort and stood, ready to follow. "Thank you, Luna, will you be coming home with me?" he said, his voice filled with gratitude. Luna assured him she would drop him to the edge of the eldergrove. However she would not be able to leave it.
Suddenly shimmering stones that marked their way, each one twinkling like a captured star appeared before them. "These woods are special," Luna shared, "full of magic and secrets for those who listen." Oliver stood before them awestruck. "I understand now" he wispered.
Oliver turned to Luna, his heart full of newfound courage and friendship. "Will I see you again?" he asked, hoping to keep this magical bond. "Whenever you need guidance, just listen to the whisper of the trees," Luna replied, fading gently into the mist as the eldergrove came to an end. Oliver waved goodbye, carrying the lessons of the enchanted woods with him as he stepped into the warmth of his home.
