Ella clutched her little brother's hand tightly, her eyes wide with wonder. Mia and Tom walked beside them, their faces lit with the same excitement that danced in Ella's heart.
"Isn't it beautiful, Ella?"
"It's like a dream, Mama," Ella replied, her voice filled with awe.
Liam tugged on Tom's sleeve, pointing eagerly at a nearby musician playing an accordion.
"Papa, look! Can we listen?"
"Of course, little adventurer," Tom chuckled, lifting Liam onto his shoulders.
Ella sat cross-legged, unpacking the picnic basket with a careful hand. Mia handed out sandwiches while Tom poured lemonade into cups.
"To our Parisian adventure!" Mia toasted, raising her cup.
"To more magical days," Ella echoed, giggling as Liam tried to catch a passing butterfly.
Liam yawned, snuggling closer to Tom, while Ella pointed out constellations to Mia.
"Look, Mama, there's the Big Dipper!"
"And over there, the North Star," Mia added, her voice a soft lullaby.
Tom carried their bags, while Mia held Liam's hand. Ella turned back one last time, her golden curls fluttering in the breeze.
"Goodbye, Paris," she whispered, a promise in her voice to return one day.
"What was your favorite part, Ella?" Mia asked, her eyes twinkling.
"Everything! But especially the lights," Ella replied dreamily.
"And there's more to explore," Tom added, ruffling Liam's hair.
"I can't wait!" Liam exclaimed, his eyes wide with anticipation for the adventures yet to come.
