The baby seagull stares at the vast expanse before him, his tiny body trembling. His downy feathers ruffle in the breeze as he peers nervously over the edge, heart pounding with uncertainty. All around, the cliff seems both a sanctuary and a challenge—his home and his next great leap.
The mother seagull glides down, landing for a moment beside her child. She drops the fish at his feet, her eyes sparkling with pride and gentle insistence.
"You can do it, my little one. The wind will hold you—trust it!"
He hesitates, his gaze flickering between fear and hope. The rush of wind fills his ears, drowning out everything but the racing of his heart. Finally, with a nervous chirp, he leaps, tumbling through the air—his first dive.
He gasps, feeling the air lift him, wild and exhilarating. The cliff recedes, and the sky opens up, vast and blue. His cries of fear turn to surprised delight as he realizes he’s flying.
The mother seagull swoops near, her voice warm and proud.
"See? You are one of us now. The sky is yours!"
The baby’s heart swells as he follows their lead, buoyed by their love.
The baby seagull beams, no longer afraid. With every beat of his wings, he feels the joy of flight, the warmth of family, and the promise of adventure yet to come.
