Maya, a little girl with curly hair and a shy smile, clutches her backpack tightly as she stands by the door. She watches other children laughing and chatting, feeling a flutter of nerves in her stomach. The teacher, Ms. Lee, greets each student with a warm smile, her voice gentle and encouraging.
