Penny the Peashooter stretched her leafy arms and looked around at her colorful neighbors. Nearby, Tommy Tomato bounced excitedly on his vine, his red cheeks glowing in the sunlight. All around, flowers giggled, and tiny sprouts peeked curiously from the rich, dark soil.
"Good morning, everyone! Today’s the day of the Great Garden Parade!" Penny called out, her voice as fresh as the morning air. Tommy spun in place, sending droplets of dew sparkling like diamonds. "I can’t wait to show off my shiny tomato suit!"
Lila Lavender, with her soft purple blossoms, carefully ties a golden sash around her stem. Benny Bean polishes his emerald coat, humming a cheerful tune. "Don’t forget to smile, everyone! The bees will be judging our parade floats!" "I hope they like my lavender perfume," Lila giggles, sending a sweet scent drifting through the air.
Penny leads the way, waving her leafy hands. Tommy follows, rolling along in a cart covered with marigold petals. Benny Bean performs a wiggly dance, making the audience laugh. "Look at me! The bendiest bean in Sproutville!" The crowd cheers as the parade floats by in a swirl of color and laughter.
Tommy frowns as his petals begin to droop, but Penny calls out, "Don’t worry, friends! Rain makes us grow strong and healthy!" Lila twirls with delight, letting raindrops glisten on her blossoms. The parade continues, now brighter than ever under the rain’s silvery sheen.
Benny Bean bows, his coat shining. "That was the best parade ever! Even the rain couldn’t stop us," Tommy says, beaming. The bees buzz around, handing out golden medals made of pollen and petals to all the plants.
"We did it together—what a wonderful day in our garden," Penny says, her heart full of pride. Lila leans close to her friends, and they all share a cozy moment, knowing that in Sproutville, every plant, big or small, is a star in the parade.
