Sandy the squirrel was busy gathering acorns, her bushy tail twitching with excitement. She had a special tree trunk where she stored her treasures, and today she planned to fill it to the brim. "These acorns will last me through the winter," she thought happily, her eyes gleaming with the anticipation of a bountiful stash.
"Why isn't Sandy sharing any acorns with us?" Lola asked, her ears flopping with concern.
"I don't know," Benny replied, ruffling his feathers. "But I think we should talk to her."
"Sandy, we've noticed you have a lot of acorns," Benny began carefully. "Would you like to share some with us?"
Sandy looked at her friends, taken aback by their request. "But I've worked so hard to collect them," she replied, a hint of defensiveness in her voice.
"Maybe I have been a little selfish," Sandy admitted to herself, feeling a pang of guilt. "Benny and Lola are my friends, and friends should share, shouldn't they?"
"I'm sorry for not sharing before," Sandy said sincerely, offering the bag to Benny and Lola. "I want us all to have enough for the winter."
"Thank you, Sandy!" Lola exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"This means so much to us," Benny chirped cheerfully.
Sandy realized that sharing her acorns brought her more happiness than hoarding them ever could. The joy of giving and the love of her friends filled her heart, teaching her that true richness comes from generosity and kindness.
