At the center of the meadow lies Grom the Gentle Giant, his enormous frame sprawled across a bed of moss and clover. His snores rumble softly, shaking petals from nearby daisies. As the light touches his face, Grom stirs, blinking sleepily at the brilliant sky.
Grom[/@ch_1] sits up, stretching his arms so wide that a flock of finches scatter from a nearby oak. Sunbeams dance across his tangled hair, and the glistening dew sparkles around him.]
"What a wonderful nap," he mumbles, his voice deep and soothing, sending ripples across a nearby pond. He glances around, searching for his hat, a patchwork of leaves and twigs, which he finds perched atop a sleepy fox.
Grom[/@ch_1] ambles through the meadow, each step causing little tremors that send rabbits and mice scurrying for cover. The sunlight flickers through the tall grass, painting shifting patterns on his shadow.]
Grom hums a gentle tune, his eyelids heavy, half-dreaming as he walks. He pauses at a babbling brook, dipping his toes in the cool water and giggling as minnows dart between them.
Grom[/@ch_1]'s humming. The willow’s long branches sway, sheltering the group in dappled shade.]
Olly the Owl, perched on a low branch, blinks thoughtfully at the giant. "Grom, your snoring woke half the forest! What did you dream of this time?"
"I dreamed I was floating above the clouds, napping on a bed of marshmallows," Grom replies with a gentle laugh.
Grom[/@ch_1] tries to settle once more for a nap, but the meadow is now abuzz with activity and noise.]
Hazel the Hedgehog, prickly but kind, scurries over and nudges Grom's toe. "Maybe you need a quieter place for your snooze, Grom!"
"But I love the company," Grom sighs, smiling at his friends.

"Then let's all nap together," hoots Olly, and the animals snuggle in the giant’s shadow.
With the gentle sounds of the forest lulling them, Grom and his friends drift into a peaceful, shared slumber, dreaming sweet dreams beneath the great willow.
