The Fresh Beat Band had just finished practicing a happy Halloween song when a pale, floating ghost appeared outside the window with a long moan. The room that had been full of music suddenly felt cold, and even the cheerful decorations seemed spooky in the silver moonlight. "Aaaah! Did you see that ghost? We have to run right now before it floats in here and scares us even more!"

Geo Umizoomi opened the door just as the Fresh Beat Band came rushing up, out of breath and wide-eyed with fear. They all tried to explain at once, pointing back toward the studio and shivering as they remembered the ghostly face in the window. "Slow down, friends, and tell me everything from the beginning, because if a ghost is bothering you, then I will help you figure out a brave and clever plan."

The Fresh Beat Band told Geo Umizoomi how the ghost had scared them so badly that they ran for their lives. Then they remembered something funny from other Halloween parties, when Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy had dressed and acted like spooky ghosts to surprise the Bubble Guppies and Franklin the Turtle and friends. "Wait, we remember a time when Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy scared everyone at Halloween parties by pretending to be ghosts, so maybe we can do the same thing and scare this ghost away instead!"

Geo Umizoomi smiled and helped the Fresh Beat Band make ghost costumes with big flowing sheets and soft glowing lights underneath. Soon they looked like a whole parade of friendly but spooky spirits, drifting and swaying as they practiced their best ghostly voices. "If that ghost wants to scare others on Halloween night, then let us show him that even a ghost can get frightened when he meets a whole team of mysterious floating figures in the dark."

The Fresh Beat Band and Geo Umizoomi floated forward in their costumes, waving their arms and making deep, echoing ghost sounds. The ghost turned, saw ghosts everywhere, and trembled so hard that he nearly spun in the air before darting away down the street as fast as he could. "Look, it worked! The ghost got scared by ghosts, and now he is the one running for his life every time he looks back!"

The ghost kept running farther and farther away, too frightened to come back after being scared by the ghostly team. The Fresh Beat Band threw off their costumes, laughed with relief, and cheered together under the bright Halloween moon. "Yay! We were scared at first, but with help, a smart plan, and a little Halloween fun, we scared the ghost away and saved the night!"

The Fresh Beat Band hurried home and told their moms everything that had happened, from the first spooky sight to the clever ghost costume plan. Their moms listened with wide eyes, then smiled proudly when they heard how Geo Umizoomi had helped and how the ghost had run away in fear. "It was scary at first, but then we remembered Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy, and with Geo Umizoomi helping us, we became ghosts too, scared the ghost away, and now Halloween feels fun again!"
