Dora and Boots hurry along a narrow path, their eyes wide with fear. They stumble over roots and glance back, certain that something spooky is following them. The faint sound of eerie laughter echoes through the trees, sending shivers down their spines.
"Boots, did you see that? I think there was a ghost behind us!"
"I saw it too, Dora! It was floating and glowing—let's get out of here!"
Dora and Boots rush into the clearing, breathless and shaking. They spot Geo Umizoomi, who is busy arranging colorful geometric shapes on a picnic blanket. The sight of their friend brings relief, and they quickly run over to him.
"Geo, you have to help us! There's a ghost in the jungle—it scared us so much!"
"A ghost? Don't worry, Dora and Boots. We'll solve this mystery together!"
With Geo Umizoomi leading the way, they examine the ground for clues. They notice a series of strange, glowing footprints and a scrap of white fabric caught on a thorn bush. Boots points to a faint outline in the soft earth, shaped suspiciously like a shoe.
"Ghosts don't wear shoes, do they? Maybe it's not really a ghost after all,"
"Let's keep following the clues and find out what's really going on,"
The friends approach cautiously, hearts pounding. Suddenly, the figure trips, and the sheet falls away—revealing Kiki, giggling and holding a flashlight. A playful grin spreads across her face as she realizes she's been caught.
"Kiki! Were you the ghost all along?"
Kiki laughs and nods, explaining that she only wanted to play a little prank.
Geo Umizoomi sets out cookies and milk, and everyone settles down to share stories of the night's adventure. Dora and Boots forgive Kiki, admitting the prank was a good one. Together, they agree that mysteries are best solved with friends by your side.
"Next time, let's solve a mystery that doesn't involve ghosts—unless they're friendly ones!"
"Deal! But maybe we should stick together just in case,"
Dora and Boots walk side by side, no longer afraid of the dark. They talk about all the fun they had, grateful for their clever friend Geo Umizoomi and the lesson they learned: sometimes, things aren’t as spooky as they seem.
