Little Bill and his friends gather near the old oak tree, their laughter echoing through the cool twilight. Suddenly, a chilling gust rustles the branches, and a strange, glowing figure appears behind the bushes. The children freeze, wide-eyed, as the ghostly shape hovers closer, its white sheet fluttering eerily.
April, Little Bill’s brave older cousin, tries to steady her voice. "D-did anyone else see that?"
Little Bill grabs Andrew by the hand, and together with April, they dash across the empty street toward the safety of Geo Umizoomi's clubhouse.
"Run! It’s a real ghost!" Andrew cries, his voice echoing behind them.
"Don’t look back! Just keep running!"
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_4] listens intently.]
Little Bill tries to explain through gasps, and April gestures wildly, recounting the ghost sighting.
Geo Umizoomi, with his trusty team—Milli and Bot—nods reassuringly.
"Don’t worry! We’ll solve this ghostly mystery together. Let’s retrace your steps and see what clues we can find."
Milli examines the ground, spotting small footprints and a scrap of cloth caught on a branch.
Bot scans for unusual shapes, his antenna glowing.
"Look! Someone must have dropped this!"
"And these footprints lead behind the bushes."
Out steps Bobby, Little Bill’s mischievous neighbor, who sheepishly reveals his prank.
"I just wanted to play a spooky joke and didn’t think it would scare everyone so much. I’m sorry!"
"You scared us half to death, Bobby!" Little Bill can’t help but join in the laughter as the tension melts away.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_4] hands out cookies.]
"Mystery solved! Remember, sometimes things aren’t as scary as they seem if we stick together and look for answers," Geo Umizoomi says with a smile.
"Next time, let’s play a game that doesn’t involve ghosts!" And as the stars twinkle overhead, the friends promise to face their fears together—no matter what shadows lurk in the night.
