Little Bill[/@ch_1] and his friends huddled on a couch, eyes wide with fear.]
Little Bill hugged a pillow tightly as the wind howled through the cracked window. Suddenly, a pale, flickering figure seemed to glide past the doorway, sending a chill through the group. Kiku clamped her hands over her mouth, while Andrew whispered, "Did you all see that? There's a ghost in the hallway!"
Little Bill led the charge, his heart pounding. "Come on, everyone! We have to tell Geo Umizoomi—they’ll know what to do!" The group burst into Geo Umizoomi's house, dripping wet and breathless.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_4] listens intently. Rain taps against the window, and a gentle glow fills the room.]
Kiku tried to catch her breath. "Geo, you have to help us! There’s a ghost in Little Bill’s house. It was floating and glowing and—" Geo Umizoomi nodded, pulling out a magnifying glass. "Don’t worry! Team Umizoomi loves a good mystery. Let’s put our minds together and solve this!"
Andrew shone his light into the hallway, revealing a trail of floury footprints. Geo Umizoomi knelt down to examine a sheet caught on a doorknob. "Hmm, these clues are adding up. I think the ghost might not be so spooky after all," Geo said, winking.
Bobby[/@ch_5], Little Bill’s older brother, sheepishly holding a flashlight and wearing a white sheet. The lights flicker back on, revealing everyone’s relieved faces.]
Little Bill gasped. "Bobby! You were the ghost all along?" Bobby grinned. "I just wanted to give you a little scare for Halloween! Didn’t think you’d call for backup!" Everyone burst out laughing, the tension melting away.
Geo Umizoomi raised a mug. "Remember, mysteries are always easier to solve together. And sometimes, the scariest ghosts are just big brothers in disguise!" Little Bill and his friends nod in agreement, happy to be safe—and even happier to have each other.
