Little Bill clutches his flashlight tightly, his eyes darting nervously around. Next to him, April, his adventurous friend, tries to act brave, but her hands tremble just a little.
"Did you hear that noise, April? It sounded like someone whispering,"
"Probably just the wind... but let's stick together, okay?"
Little Bill's mouth falls open, and April grabs his arm. Both stand frozen, eyes wide, as the ghostly figure lets out a low, haunting moan. Suddenly, it floats closer, and the flashlight flickers in Little Bill's hand.
"Run, Little Bill!" Little Bill doesn't need to be told twice—they both sprint off, hearts pounding, desperate to escape the ghost.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3]'s house, a cozy home lit by warm golden light. The front garden is filled with colorful flowers and geometric shapes, a stark contrast to the spooky playground.]
Little Bill knocks frantically on the door, and Geo Umizoomi, always cheerful and clever, opens it immediately.
"Geo, you have to help us! We saw a ghost in the playground—it chased us!"
"A ghost? Don't worry, friends! We'll solve this mystery together,"
"It was floating, and it made the swings move! Please, Geo, you have to believe us,"
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3] examines the sandbox, noticing fresh footprints and a piece of white fabric caught on the swing.]
"Look, these footprints are too small for a ghost. And this fabric... it looks like part of a costume," Little Bill bends down to pick up the fabric, curiosity overcoming his fear.
"So maybe someone was pretending to be a ghost?"
Bobby[/@ch_4], a mischievous neighbor, steps out, blushing and holding the rest of a white bedsheet. The moonlight glints off his sheepish grin as he waves awkwardly.]
"Sorry, guys—I just wanted to play a prank. I didn't mean to scare you that much,"
"Bobby! You really had us going. We thought it was a real ghost!"
"Next time, let's stick to friendly games instead,"
"I'm glad it was just you, Bobby. But next time, warn us before you go haunting the playground!"
"Yeah, and thanks for helping us, Geo. You're the best detective ever,"
"Anytime, friends. Remember, things aren’t always what they seem!"
