Benny the Monkey scratched his head, puzzled by the empty space where his beloved bananas once were. Determined to solve the mystery, he decided to confront his prime suspect.
Sammy the Squirrel looked up, startled, as Benny approached with a determined stride. "Did you take my bananas?" Benny demanded.
"No way! I only like acorns," Sammy insisted, his eyes wide with innocence. "But I did see Parrot Pete flying around your tree last night."
Parrot Pete fluttered his wings, looking down at Benny with a quizzical expression. "Pete, did you take my bananas?" Benny asked, his voice tinged with frustration.
"Not me! But I saw Tilly the Turtle walking away with something yellow," Pete squawked, adding a new twist to the mystery.
Tilly the Turtle chuckled as Benny approached, pointing at the banana peels scattered around her. "Aha! You took my bananas!" Benny exclaimed.
"Oh, no! I found these peels on the ground this morning," Tilly explained. "Maybe the wind blew your bananas away?"
Leo the Lion lay sprawled out, a gentle snore escaping as he slept on a pile of bananas.
"Leo! You sleepwalked into my treehouse again, didn’t you?" Benny chuckled, realizing the mystery's amusing conclusion.
"Oops. Banana dreams are the best dreams," Leo admitted with a sheepish grin.
With the mystery solved, Benny shared his bananas, ensuring everyone enjoyed a sweet treat before Leo could sleepwalk again.
