Lion paced back and forth, his mane catching the last rays of sunlight. "We need a slide! It's the most exciting thing we could build," he declared, his voice firm.
Hare, twitching his nose thoughtfully, countered, "A swing would be better. It's more relaxing and fun for everyone!"
Bird flapped her wings from the branch above, chirping in disagreement, "A climbing frame is what we need! It lets us soar to new heights."
The bickering filled the air, each animal refusing to budge from their preferred choice.
"Friends, listen," Owl hooted softly, her eyes gleaming with wisdom. "Why don't we each present our ideas and then vote? Democracy will guide us to the best decision."
Lion, Hare, and Bird paused, considering the suggestion. The forest seemed to hold its breath in anticipation of their response.
Each animal took turns explaining their ideas, their voices mingling with the night sounds. "Imagine the thrill of sliding down," Lion roared passionately.
Hare hopped excitedly, "A swing is like a gentle breeze, soothing and delightful!"
Bird swooped down, adding, "A climbing frame gives us the sky!"
The animals then cast their votes, each dropping a pebble into a small clay pot, representing their choice.
Owl announced, "The climbing frame has won!" Cheers erupted, echoing through the forest as the animals embraced the decision.
Lion hauled heavy logs, Hare tied knots with nimble paws, and Bird flew high, guiding the placement of the beams. Owl watched over them, her heart swelling with pride at their unity.
The animals gathered around their creation, "We did it together!" Lion roared, his voice full of satisfaction.
Hare and Bird nodded in agreement, their eyes reflecting the light of their accomplishment. Owl smiled from her perch, knowing that they had learned the true power of democracy and collaboration.
