Robert and his younger brother Elijah stood in the center of their backyard, their eyes brimming with excitement. Their loyal dog, Finn, wagged his tail eagerly, ready for the game.
"Okay, Elijah, you count to twenty and no peeking!"
Elijah pressed his forehead against the tree bark, counting with a mix of anticipation and impatience.
"One, two, three..."
Meanwhile, Robert darted towards the garden shed, and Finn bounded after him, his floppy ears bouncing.
Robert crouched behind a stack of old flower pots, trying to stifle his giggles. Finn settled beside him, panting softly.
"Shh, Finn, we have to be quiet,"
Elijah moved cautiously, glancing behind every tree and bush.
"I know you're here somewhere, Robert!"
The thrill of the chase made his heart race.
Elijah paused, a grin spreading across his face.
"Gotcha!"
He exclaimed, throwing open the shed door. Robert burst out laughing, and Finn barked joyfully, wagging his tail furiously.
Robert ruffled Elijah's hair, smiling widely.
"You're getting better at this, Elijah!"
Elijah beamed with pride, and Finn lay down between them, content and happy. As the day drew to a close, they promised each other more adventures, knowing that with Finn by their side, every game would be twice as fun.
