Rajah the Tiger stretches out on the soft moss by the water’s edge, his stripes glowing golden in the dawn. Beside him, Daisy the Duck glides serenely, her feathers smooth and white as she paddles in lazy circles. Together, they enjoy the peaceful sounds of the jungle coming to life.
"Rajah, isn’t the pond lovely this morning? The water is so calm, and the lilies smell so sweet,"
"It’s perfect, Daisy. I wouldn’t trade this spot for all the jungles in the world,"
The leader, Mona the Elephant, wades boldly into the water, her massive feet sending up great splashes. Her family follows, trunks raised in delight, churning the once-still pond into a chaotic whirlpool. Daisy flaps in panic, dodging the waves.
"Oh dear! The water’s too rough! I can’t swim with all this splashing,"
"Wait, Daisy! Come back!"
Rajah[/@ch_1] stands at the bank, watching Daisy cower behind a clump of reeds, her small form trembling.]
"Don’t worry, Daisy. I’ll think of something,"
"I miss how quiet it was. I wish we could share the pond without being scared,"
Rajah narrows his eyes, determination shining within them as he surveys the lively but unruly scene.
Rajah[/@ch_1] paces thoughtfully, then approaches Mona the Elephant, who is leading the group in a boisterous water spray contest.]
"Mona, do you think your family could use just one side of the pond for their games? That way, Daisy and I can swim in peace on the other side,"
"Oh! We didn’t realize we were making it hard for you. Of course we can share. We love having friends at the pond!"
Rajah[/@ch_1] and Daisy float undisturbed on the other, basking in the peace.]
"Rajah, you’re so clever! Now everyone can enjoy the pond,"
"It’s much better when we all share, Daisy. Look how much fun everyone is having,"
"Let’s all meet in the middle for a big splash together!"
"This is the greatest splash ever!"
"And the happiest pond in the whole jungle,"
The day ends with everyone resting side by side, content and united, as peace settles once more over the sparkling water.
