Rohit, a timid boy with a curious yet cautious nature, found himself standing on the creaking porch of a seemingly abandoned mansion. The wind howled through the broken windows, and the wooden floors groaned under his hesitant steps. Lightning flashed, casting eerie shadows that danced across the walls.
As Rohit ventured deeper into the house, he heard a chilling whisper echoing through the corridors. "Rohit... Rohit..." The voice sent shivers down his spine, and his heart pounded like a drum in his chest. He paused, his eyes wide with fear, as he tried to locate the source of the voice.
Rohit gathered his courage and stepped into the room, where a dark shadow loomed. "Who... who’s there?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. The shadow moved closer, revealing the form of a small dog with large, expressive eyes.
Bholu, a ghostly dog with a playful spirit, wagged its tail and looked up at Rohit with a mischievous grin. "I am your ghost dog!" the dog said, its voice surprisingly young and cheerful. Rohit chuckled, his fear dissipating like mist in the morning sun. "You had me scared for a moment there!"
Together, Rohit and Bholu explored the old house, uncovering its secrets and forgotten stories. Each room held a new discovery, from dusty portraits to hidden passageways. As they wandered, Rohit realized that the house was not haunted by malevolent spirits, but by memories of love and warmth.
Rohit and Bholu settled by the fireplace, a sense of peace enveloping them. "I was so scared at first, but now I understand," Rohit said, glancing at his ghostly companion. "Courage comes in unexpected forms, and friendship can light the darkest of nights," Bholu replied, his eyes twinkling with wisdom. As the first rays of dawn painted the sky, Rohit knew that he would never be afraid of the dark again, for he had Bholu by his side.
