Dora and Boots tiptoe toward the haunted house, their hands trembling as they clutch each other tightly. Shadows dance across the rotting walls, and a distant howl sends a shiver up their spines.
"Dora, maybe we shouldn't go any closer,"
"I just want to see what's inside... but it looks so spooky!"
With a terrified gasp, Dora and Boots turn and race away from the house, their feet pounding against the leaf-strewn path. Their breaths come in ragged bursts, and their hearts thump wildly as they run for their lives.
"Run, Boots! Run!"
"I am, Dora! It's right behind us!"
Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots tumble into a clearing. Nearby, Geo Umizoomi kneels by a bright blue backpack, organizing tools under the gentle light.]
Geo Umizoomi looks up, concern etched on his face as his friends come barreling toward him. Dora throws her arms around him, still shaking.
"Geo, it was horrible! The haunted house—there was something in there, and it chased us!"
"It looked like a ghost, but it was so fast! We were so scared!"
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3] stands up, determination in his eyes. The shadows seem less menacing with him around, and the air buzzes with a sense of hope.]
"Don't worry, Dora and Boots. We'll solve this mystery together! Sometimes things aren't always what they seem,"
He gathers a flashlight, a magnifying glass, and his trusty notebook. The trio huddles close, whispering strategy as the wind rustles the treetops above them.
Inside, they follow the trail of clues—footprints in the dust, a toppled vase, and a scarf caught on a doorknob. Suddenly, they hear giggling behind a curtain. The "ghost" leaps out, but the light reveals a familiar face.
Swiper[/@ch_4], the mischievous fox, grinning sheepishly.]
Swiper shrugs, his eyes darting between his friends.
"Aw, man! I just wanted to play a trick! I didn't mean to scare anyone that much,"
"Swiper! It was you all along!"
"Next time, let's play a game that doesn't give everyone a fright,"
They all laugh and step outside, the haunted house behind them just another place for adventure, not a source of fear.
