Esther tightened her laces, glancing towards the corner of the room where Luna, her imaginary friend, shimmered like a constellation. "Where should we go today, Luna?" she mused, excitement bubbling in her voice.
Luna floated beside Esther, her stardust form twinkling in the daylight. "Let's explore the hidden paths, Esther. There's magic waiting for us," she encouraged, her voice a melody of wonder.
Esther pushed the rusty gate open, her eyes widening at the sight of vibrant wildflowers dancing in the breeze. "I never knew this was here," she whispered, stepping into the forgotten paradise.
Luna twirled around Esther, her laughter echoing like wind chimes. "Memories bloom here, each flower a story waiting to be told," she said, pointing to a patch of particularly radiant blossoms.
Esther picked it up with care, her fingers tracing the faded cover. "Do you think this belonged to someone special?" she asked, feeling the weight of history in her hands.
Luna hovered close to Esther, their time together drawing to a close. "We should return, but remember, Esther, the magic of this place is within you too," she said gently, her form beginning to fade with the setting sun.
