Jordan lounged on his bed, absently tossing a basketball between his hands. His twin brother, Matt, hunched over a stack of comic books, glasses perched on his nose. Despite their differences—Jordan the popular athlete, Matt the clever, nerdy type—their bond was unmistakable.
"Hey, Matt, you ever think about hypnotizing someone? I bet I could do it,"
"I mean, I've read about it. But it's not exactly easy, you know?"
Brandon[/@ch_3], a close friend of Jordan, sits cross-legged on the floor, fidgeting nervously.]
Brandon glances between the twins, shifting uncomfortably. He finally speaks, voice soft but earnest.
"I wish my brother was as cool a nerd as Matt. Actually, I wanted to talk about something... embarrassing."
"What’s up, Brandon?"
"It’s just... I still have trouble with bedwetting. My parents make me wear tighty whities because of it. Sometimes I feel like a baby."
"Hey, you’re not alone. I wear them, too. It’s just a thing, not a big deal,"
Jordan grins mischievously, his eyes twinkling with confidence. Matt and Brandon settle in, listening intently.
"So, you want me to hypnotize Matt, Brandon? Think it’ll help with your bedwetting?"
"Yeah, if it works for Matt, maybe it could work for me, too. I just want to feel normal,"
"Alright, let’s give it a try. But don’t laugh if I start clucking like a chicken,"
Jordan guides them gently, his words weaving through the air. Both Matt and Brandon close their eyes, sinking into a relaxed state.
"When I snap my fingers, you’ll feel calm, like all your worries are melting away. And you’ll remember you’re not alone, not a baby, just normal,"
He snaps his fingers, the sound sharp in the quiet room. For a moment, neither boy moves, lost in the trance.
Brandon laughs nervously, glancing down at his underwear.
"I guess it’s not so bad. You’re right, Matt—being a nerd isn’t the worst thing,"
"Nope. Besides, we all have something we’re working on,"
"And if you ever need help, we’ve got your back,"
Jordan tosses his basketball aside, grinning at his brother and friend. Matt and Brandon exchange smiles, comforted by the evening’s honesty.
"Next time, maybe we’ll try hypnotizing Jordan,"
"Only if you promise not to make me bark like a dog,"
The room fills with laughter, their friendship stronger than ever, ready to face whatever challenges come their way.
