Leo sat cross-legged, staring at the spot next to him. It had been a week since Sparkle first appeared, shimmering faintly in the moonlight. Every night, for just five minutes, they would share stories and laughter. "Will you come to the garden with me tomorrow?" Leo asked eagerly.
Leo tiptoed past the tall hedges, entering the hidden paradise. His heart raced with anticipation. Sparkle, now visible, danced among the flowers, leaving trails of glittering light. "This place feels magical," Sparkle chimed, her voice like a soft melody.
Leo picked a daisy and offered it to Sparkle. "I wish you could stay longer," he sighed, watching the petals dance in the air. Sparkle touched his shoulder, "Even when you can't see me, I'll always be here," she reassured.
Leo and Sparkle approached the light, their hearts pounding in unison. "What is it?" Leo whispered, eyes wide with wonder. Sparkle smiled, "It's the heart of the garden, where magic thrives," she explained.
Leo felt a pang of sadness as Sparkle faded from view. "See you tomorrow," he called, waving at the empty space. The garden seemed to whisper back, promising new adventures.
Leo clutched his pillow, feeling the warmth of friendship linger. "Magic is real," he whispered to himself, closing his eyes to dream of the garden and his invisible friend.
