"Look, Ayaan! Do you see the way the sunlight dances on the leaves?" Mum points to the tall trees lining the sidewalk, their branches swaying gracefully.
Ayaan giggles, reaching out for a low-hanging leaf. "It's like they're waving at us!" he exclaims, his small fingers brushing against the cool, green surface.
"Squirrels, Mum! They're having a race!" Ayaan laughs, hopping alongside the path to keep up with the playful creatures.
Mum smiles, watching Ayaan's delight. "They're fast, aren't they? Just like little Ayra when she kicks her legs," she chuckles, glancing at the baby in the buggy, who coos softly.
"Mum, can we ride on the train one day?" Ayaan asks, his eyes lighting up at the thought of such an adventure.
"Of course, Ayaan. We'll plan a trip soon," Mum promises, her heart warmed by the simple joys of the day.
Ayaan crouches down, picking up a particularly knobby stick and holding it up triumphantly. "This one's perfect for my collection!"
Mum nods, appreciating her son's enthusiasm for nature's treasures. "It's a fine choice, Ayaan. You have quite the eye for special finds," she praises.
"Hello, Ayaan! Found any cool sticks today?" Leo calls out, his smile infectious.
"Yes, I did! Look at this one!" Ayaan eagerly shows off his find, basking in the attention.
Mum exchanges a knowing smile with Leo, grateful for the sense of community and friendship that colors their daily lives.
Mum takes a moment to breathe deeply, feeling the contentment of the day's simple pleasures. "What a wonderful walk we've had, Ayaan," she says softly, looking down at her son.
"Yes, Mum. I love our adventures," Ayaan replies, his voice filled with the innocence and wonder of childhood.
Together, they step inside, the warmth of home embracing them as Mum closes the door on another beautiful day.
