Once upon a time, in a distant forest, a bear family used to live happily. Juan, the father, worked hard to bring food and resources, while Lucia, the mother, took care of the cabin and made sure her children had everything they needed to grow up happy and healthy. Mateo and Luciana, the children, were playful and always full of energy. Although they weren’t rich, they had enough to live comfortably and contentedly. The whole family used to have beautiful brown fur, and they were excited because soon a new member would join the family.
The much-anticipated day came, and the little bear was born. However, something completely surprised them: the baby wasn’t brown like them; he was white as snow!—How can this be? —they asked, astonished. The family began to worry. They thought the white fur of the baby could be a sign that something was wrong with him, or they feared that, because he was so different, he wouldn’t fit in with them or the other animals in the forest.
They were becoming more and more anxious as the days passed, and they made the sad decision to abandon him.
The little white bear, now alone, wandered through the forest for several days, facing many
But one day, he found a family of animals who saw him lost and decided to adopt him. Even though they were different, they didn’t care about the color of his fur. They took care of him with love and welcomed him into their home.Mariano, as they called him, was growing up happily in his new family. He was always kind and generous, thinking about the well-being of others.
One day, he noticed that some animals in the forest couldn't find food or shelter because they were sick or unable to work. This made Mariano want to help them.
He started collecting food, blankets, and other necessities, and distributed them to those in need. In return, the animals offered him the little money they had or small gifts, grateful for his kindness. Although at first he gathered only a few coins, Mariano saved them with great care.
Over time, Mariano had an idea. He decided to leave the forest and venture into the city to help more animals.
