Susan[/@ch_1], a girl with straight red hair and a green flowy dress, strolls along, her footsteps light with curiosity.]
Susan pauses, spotting a tiny frog sitting in the center of the dusty path. Its skin glimmers emerald and bronze, and it blinks up at her, looking lost. Kneeling, she whispers, "Hello, little frog. Are you lost?" The frog gives a soft croak, tilting its head as if asking for help.
Susan steps carefully, glancing at her new friend. "Let's find your way home together," she says, her voice gentle. The frog hops ahead, leading her across the bridge, pausing now and then to glance back as if making sure she follows.
The hedgehog greets them, "Are you searching for something, travelers? My burrow is nearby if you need to rest," offering a berry. Susan smiles and thanks him, but the frog politely declines, eager to keep moving. They wave goodbye as the hedgehog returns to his cozy den, disappearing among the roots and leaves.
The squirrel pauses, tail twitching, and asks, "Looking for the pond, are you? You’re almost there! Follow the stream and you’ll find it shimmering in the sun." Susan beams, thanking the squirrel, and the frog gives a grateful croak. Their steps quicken with excitement.
The little frog hops forward eagerly, plunging into the cool water with a splash. Susan sits at the edge, watching as her friend dives deep, disappearing beneath the lily pads. Moments later, the frog surfaces, clutching a tiny, gleaming stone in its mouth, and presents it to Susan.
