Lily sat on the bench, her eyes sparkling with happiness as she watched the butterflies dance among the flowers. "It's such a beautiful day," she thought, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face.
Max, a curious squirrel, paused near Lily's feet, looking up with bright, inquisitive eyes. "Hello, little one," she greeted warmly, offering a tiny piece of her sandwich.
Lily watched as Max happily munched on the treat. "Being kind feels good," she mused aloud, feeling a sense of joy in her heart.
Lily leaned back on the bench, thinking about all the times she had chosen kindness. "Every little act of goodness makes the world a better place," she realized, watching Max scamper back to his tree.
Lily stood up, feeling grateful for the day's simple joys. As she walked home, she smiled, knowing that being a good person brought happiness not just to others, but to herself as well.
Lily lay in bed, the memory of the meadow lingering in her mind. "Tomorrow is another chance to spread kindness," she thought, drifting into a peaceful sleep, content in the knowledge that goodness shines brightly within her.
