David, with his bright red cap and a wide smile, was playing tag with his friends. His laughter echoed across the park, blending with the cheerful shouts of other children. He was known for being friendly and always included everyone in his games.
Ethen stood by himself, feeling nervous about joining the others. He was new to the neighborhood and hadn't made any friends yet. His clothes were a bit tattered, but his eyes were kind and hopeful. He wanted to join the game but didn't know how to approach the other kids.
"Hi there! I'm David. Do you want to play with us?" Ethen looked surprised but nodded eagerly, a smile spreading across his face. "Yes, I'd love to!" he replied, feeling a warmth in his heart.
David introduced Ethen to the group, and soon, they were all playing together. Some kids were hesitant at first but quickly realized how fun and nice Ethen was. "Wow, you're really good at tag!" one of the children exclaimed as Ethen dodged a tag.
David and Ethen sat side by side, feeling like they'd known each other forever. "Thank you for inviting me to play," Ethen said, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Friends always look out for each other," David replied with a grin.
David learned that kindness was the key to making new friends. Ethen felt included and happy, knowing he had found a friend who truly cared. Together, they taught everyone that being kind and compassionate makes the world a better place.
