In the quaint village of Kerala, a little boy named Raju lived with his family. Raju was known for his bright smile and curious nature. Every morning, he would help his mother in the kitchen before running off to school, his satchel bouncing on his back.
As Raju and his friends played, he noticed a little puppy struggling to walk. Raju ran over and gently picked up the puppy, cradling it in his arms. "Don't worry, little one. I'll take care of you," he assured the puppy.
Raju brought the puppy home and cleaned its wound with care. His mother, Amma, smiled as she watched her son. "You have such a kind heart, Raju," she said softly, handing him some milk for the puppy.
The next day, Raju brought the puppy to school, its paw bandaged and tail wagging happily. His friends gathered around, eager to pet the puppy. "Let's take care of him together," Raju suggested, and everyone nodded excitedly.
That evening, the village celebrated the harvest festival. As everyone danced and sang, Raju and his friends proudly paraded the puppy around. Grandpa Appu, the wise elder, patted Raju on the back. "Kindness like yours makes our village a better place," he said with a twinkle in his eye.
As Raju lay in bed, the puppy snuggled beside him, he thought about the day's events. "Kindness is like a light that guides us," he whispered to the puppy, who wagged its tail in agreement. With a content heart, Raju drifted off to sleep, dreaming of more adventures and acts of kindness.
