Mr. Squirrel trotted along the branch, his eyes bright with curiosity. He loved exploring the forest, always eager to see what new adventures awaited him.
Mr. Squirrel paused, noticing the somber pair. He scampered closer, his bushy tail flicking with concern. "Hello, Mr. Parakeet and Mrs. Parakeet! You seem troubled today. Is everything alright?"
Mr. Parakeet sighed, his voice tinged with sadness. "We haven't eaten since yesterday. There's no food left in our home, and we're too weak to fly far in search of more."
Mr. Squirrel nodded with determination. "Come to my house! There's plenty of food, and my family would be delighted to share with you both."
Inside, the squirrel's family greeted the guests warmly, offering them an array of seeds and berries. Mrs. Squirrel smiled kindly, her eyes twinkling. "Eat as much as you like. We're happy to have you."
Mr. Parakeet chirped with gratitude, his heart full. "Thank you, Mr. Squirrel and family. Your generosity has brightened our day."
Mrs. Parakeet added, her voice warm. "We are lucky to have friends like you in this vast forest."
