In the heart of the jungle, the mighty Lion roamed with a sense of entitlement. He was the king, and every creature knew it. But today, a tiny figure caught his eye—a diligent Ant, dragging a leaf much larger than herself.
"How do you, such a small Ant, manage to pull such a big leaf?" Lion roared with laughter, amused by her efforts.
"I may be small, but my determination is great," Ant replied without pausing. "And you, being so big, seem to be burdened by your pride."
Irritated by Ant's words, Lion attempted to crush her with his massive paw. But the quick-thinking Ant darted under the leaf, evading Lion's wrath.
Lion, baffled by her disappearance, growled in frustration and stomped away, leaving the Ant unscathed.
He stepped carelessly and yelped as a sharp thorn lodged into his paw. Lion tried in vain to remove it, but the pain was too intense. Just then, Ant happened to pass by.
"Help me, please!" Lion pleaded, humbled by his predicament.
"Why should I help you?" Ant asked, recalling Lion's earlier actions.
"I am sorry for underestimating you," Lion admitted, "I have learned my lesson. I will never look down on anyone again."
Ant, seeing sincerity in Lion's eyes, decided to help. With great care, she removed the thorn from his paw.
Lion and Ant parted ways with a newfound respect for one another. The jungle had taught them both a valuable lesson: true strength lies not in size or power, but in humility and unity.
Ant continued her journey, dragging her leaf, with a small smile, knowing she had made a difference.
