There was a jungle where a big bad Lion used To live. He used to eat all the animals. All of the animals gather together and decides that one animal will sacrifice itself every day as food to the lion, so the lion will not kill more animals everyday.
"Remember, one of you must come to me each day, or I will hunt you all," his voice echoes, instilling dread. The animals bow their heads, resigned to the lion’s cruel decree, their voices hushed in despair.
"I will go," Rabbit says bravely, though his heart pounds. The other animals gaze at him with hope and sorrow, placing their trust in his quiet strength.
"Where is my tribute? Who dares defy me?" roars Lion, his tail lashing the earth. Birds scatter from the treetops, and the ground seems to tremble with the lion’s impatience.
"Mighty lion, forgive my tardiness," Rabbit begins, voice trembling just enough to sound sincere. "On my way here, a huge lion stopped me. He claimed this land as his and said you were no match for him." Lion bristles, pride wounded, eyes narrowing with fury.
"Look! He’s hiding down there, mocking you," whispers Rabbit, his voice urgent. Lion peers into the well, seeing his own image, mane bristling, eyes fierce. "How dare you challenge me!" he roars, leaping into the darkness below.
"Let us remember: wisdom saves where strength cannot," Rabbit declares, his voice ringing in the cool air. Laughter and cheers ripple through the crowd as the animals embrace their newfound freedom, the forest alive once more in harmony.
