Leo the Lion woke up beneath his favorite tree, stretching his strong legs and shaking his mane. Today felt different—something inside him fluttered with uncertainty. He inhaled deeply, ready to greet the animals with his mighty roar, but when he opened his mouth, not a sound came out. Confused, he tried again, but only a whisper escaped.
Leo approached the babbling brook, hoping the water would help. He took a long drink, then tried to roar once more. "Rrrr...?" was all he managed, quieter than the rustling reeds. Nearby, Ellie the Elephant, gentle and wise, lowered her trunk in concern. "Leo, what’s wrong? You sound so quiet today," she asked, her eyes kind.
Leo explained his trouble, his voice barely a murmur. "Don’t worry, Leo," said Ellie, "Let’s ask the wise old owl. He knows everything about the savannah." Together, they made their way to the ancient baobab tree, its massive roots twisting deep into the earth.

Ollie listened intently to Leo’s story, his golden eyes thoughtful. "Sometimes, when we’re worried or sad, our voices hide away," he said gently. "Think about what makes you happy, Leo. Remember your favorite things on the savannah." Leo nodded, pondering Ollie’s words as the wind rustled through the leaves.
With gentle encouragement from Ellie and Ollie, Leo closed his eyes and remembered playing with friends, chasing butterflies, and feeling the warm sun on his fur. A feeling of happiness bubbled up inside him. He smiled at everyone and, with a deep breath, tried to roar again.
To everyone’s delight, Leo’s roar echoed across the land—loud and proud, full of joy and strength. The animals cheered, and Leo’s heart soared. "Thank you, my friends. I found my roar because you helped me remember what matters most," Leo said, his voice clear and warm. Together, they celebrated under the starry sky, knowing that sometimes, all it takes to find your voice is a little help from friends.
