Cleo the Cloud drifted quietly, gazing longingly at the field of thirsty flowers below. She wished with all her heart to become rain and nourish the earth, but each time she tried, nothing happened.
"If only I could be useful, like the big clouds," she whispered, her voice barely louder than the wind.
Cleo squeezed herself tightly, hoping droplets would form, but only a faint mist escaped. Down below, the flowers raised their faces expectantly, but no rain came from her.
Daisy the Dandelion, a cheerful yellow flower, called out, "Don't give up, little cloud! We believe in you!" Cleo felt a warm glow inside, but also a pang of disappointment.
Cleo watched as other clouds passed by, leaving trails of rain behind them. She felt smaller than ever, her hope fading like the stars at dawn.
"Why can't I do it? Maybe I'm just not meant to rain," she sighed, her voice trembling.
Breeze the Wind, playful and kind, swirled up to Cleo. "Don't worry, Cleo. Sometimes, you have to be patient and keep trying. Even the smallest clouds can make a big difference!"
Cleo gathered her courage, feeling a spark of hope reignite within her.
Cleo closed her eyes and focused with all her might. Slowly, tiny droplets began to gather at her edges. Suddenly, gentle raindrops tumbled from her, falling softly onto the flowers below.
Daisy cheered, "You did it, Cleo! You made it rain!" The whole meadow burst into joyful color, the plants drinking deeply.
Cleo looked down at the flourishing flowers and realized her dream had come true. She had failed many times, but by never giving up, she had finally succeeded.
"See, Cleo? All you needed was a little patience and a lot of heart," Breeze whispered as he danced around her, laughter echoing through the bright morning sky.
