Lila tossed and turned in her bed, her small hands clutching her stuffed whale. "I wish I could talk to them about the sea," she murmured, her thoughts drifting to her parents and siblings.
Lila sat up, her eyes wide and curious. "I want to see the whales and eat choco chips," she whispered to the room, imagining the taste of the sweet treats and the sight of majestic sea creatures.
Lila clenched her fists, ready to fight the nightmares that crept into her mind. "I won't be scared," she told herself bravely, determined to conquer the darkness.
Papa entered quietly, his presence bringing comfort. He sat by her bed, his voice soothing as he sang a lullaby. "Hush now, little dreamer," he sang softly.
Lila felt her eyes grow heavy, her heart full with the love that her papa's song carried. "Thank you, Papa," she whispered, her fears fading away.
Lila drifted into a peaceful sleep, her dreams filled with the gentle waves and the love of her family. She knew she was safe, and the nightmares were gone.
