Song wriggled with excitement as she joined her siblings in the field. Their mother, Renee, stood tall and proud, counting softly, "One, two, three, four, five, six. My treasures from God." The puppies barked joyfully, their tails wagging in perfect harmony as they greeted the new day.
Song's eyes lit up as she spotted the colorful bag. "Yay! Yay! Yay!" she barked, bounding toward the toys with boundless energy. Not far beyond, another bag of toys waited, and Song raced eagerly to explore it too, chasing and pouncing with unbridled joy.
As the sun dipped lower, Renee called out, "Time to come into the house!" The puppies scampered back, one by one, except for Song, who was still enchanted by the distant toys near the white fence, her ears too far away to hear her mother's voice.
Renee’s voice trembled as she counted, "One, two, three, four, five..." She paused, eyes wide with worry. "My baby!" she cried, realizing that Song was missing. The warmth of the house felt empty without her smallest pup.
"One, two, three, I agree. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that You help me find my baby, Song." Renee whispered. She and Mama Honey stepped into the night—past the blue house, then the red house—calling out, "Song! Song, where are you?" Their voices echoed over the quiet fields, persistence guiding their every step.
A faint, trembling bark reached Renee’s ears. "Bark!" Song whimpered, having fallen while trying to return home. Renee rushed over, lifting her gently and holding her close. "THANK YOU, JESUS!" Renee exclaimed, her smile shining brighter than the stars, while Mama Honey’s face glowed with joy.
Renee’s heart overflowed as she called out, "Let’s have a party! I found my lost puppy!" The house filled with cheers as aunties, uncles, and cousins gathered to celebrate. The joy was so great that even the stars outside seemed to twinkle brighter.
This story, Jesus once told, reminds us that God is like a loving parent. Even if we wander or feel lost, God searches for us with all His heart, because to Him, each of us is the most important puppy in the world.
