Lila loved exploring the meadow, her heart filled with wonder at the world around her. She twirled and danced among the flowers, her laughter echoing like music. Today, however, she felt a tiny cloud of doubt following her. She had always admired the way the sun shone so boldly, wishing she could be as brave and strong.
Toby noticed the little cloud around Lila and approached her slowly. "Hello, little one," he said warmly. "Why do you look so thoughtful today?" Lila paused, her eyes meeting his. "I wish I could be as bright and confident as the sun," she confessed.
Toby smiled kindly at Lila. "Look into the pond," he instructed. As Lila gazed into the water, she saw her reflection surrounded by the beauty of the meadow. "The sun shines brightly because it knows its own strength, just like you. You have your own light, Lila, and it's just as important," he explained.
Lila felt a warmth growing inside her, a spark of confidence she hadn't recognized before. "I do have my own light, don't I?" she asked, a smile spreading across her face. Toby nodded. "Yes, and it's as beautiful and unique as you are," he replied.
Lila ran back into the meadow with a new sense of joy. She twirled among the flowers, her laughter mingling with the song of the brook. She realized that her light could shine brightly too, in its own special way. "Thank you, Toby! I'll never forget your words," she called out, waving to her wise friend.
Lila watched the sunset, feeling grateful for the day and the lessons she'd learned. She knew she was ready to face anything with her newfound confidence. "I am a little star," she whispered to herself, "and I will shine my light wherever I go." And with that, she turned towards home, her heart as bright as the evening sky.
